Another atmospheric gem. Best listened to from beginning to end, to get the full impact. Some lyrical refrain connects this one (and apparently the forthcoming one) to the debut, and there are songs from each album that sort of inversely mirror each other. It seems WNR are building their own darkly romantic musical mythos, and the journey is well worth going on.

Bleak atmosphere with rays of stark beauty shining throughout. The impact for me is as much in the silence as the sound. You know they're doing something right when at the end of an 18 minute song you're left thinking, "Aw, that's it?"
